Come on in & pull yourself up a chair
Like chairy, but please leave me my big ass leather recliner thanks. Anyway for all of us who learned the valuable lesson that the Alamo has no basement due to Mr. Paul Ruebens faux pas in his Big Adventure it's time to rejoice because according to this article there are two new Peewee Herman movies coming our way. Pun only partially intended.
And WTF?!?!?! He's 53?
Keeping with the Peewee flavour, how's about some bad news for Anglicans who want to go on their own big adventure? Turns out that the Bishop of London has decreed that airplane travel for holidays is a sin. And you thought that the Catholics thought everything was a sin. But don't worry if you're looking for something different in the world of religion try the Universal Life Church on for size. They'll ordain you via email and then you can absolve yourself and your friends of sin. How's that for a party trick, eh?
No need to stop the Peewee theme, I have to ask how come whenever I do this the police show up (and I don't just mean that one dude from the Village People), but when Victoria Silvstedt treats her body like an amusement park on a hotel balcony the pictures just end up on the interweb?
In further honour of Mr. Herman I've decided to declare today officially The Touch Day. Check out the Marky Mark version from Boogie Nights here or the equally as cheesy but way less cool original video version here. Feel feel feel my heat!
That's enough Peewee for now, after all he's not as cool as Mr. T.
Now it's time for something else near and dear to my heart, cars. Turns out that you Prius owners are in luck, for a mere $12k US you can mod your car so you can plug her in the wall socket to charge it up, but perhaps the environmental benefits are lost when you pitch all those lead acid batteries in the garbage? But who needs a hybrid when VW is unveiling another super efficient diesel car, the Polo Blue (I believe that the original name for the car was "Suck on this Prius") and at under $20k, (US) this car seems like a great idea . . . article sadly has no pic.
What would I do with something that got great fuel mileage? How badly would I miss being able to go from 90 km/h (55 mph) to 160 km/h (100mph) while passing a single car? Would it be worth it?
Waiting for the plane
