The Simpsonsssssssss

It was today in 1990 that the Simpsons debuted on the FOX network (aka the network that bad taste built) although I think that counts as its show and not when it was just short animation clips used to bookend the commercial breaks on the Tracy Ullman Show. Here's something to stop and think about, this little factoid means that if you aren't more than 18 years old today you've never known a world without the Simpsons. How's that for cultural perspective?

To switch gears from one form of geekery to another, remember the TV show Knight Rider? Well it's going to be remade and here are some of the first published pictures of what the new KITT will look like. Yep it's no longer a third generation firebird (and I'm assuming Micheal Knight will have better hair now too), but now is a Shelby GT500KR Mustang.

Now all I'm wondering is what will KARR be now?

Hey, did you know that Gentle Giant is selling their life-size Star Wars monuments online? Well they are. You can read more about it here, or you can just go to their website.

All I want to know is what's up with Leia's boobs? Come to think of it she looks more like how a stripper or porn star trying to look like Princess Leia would look than actually looking like Princess Leia, but that's just my opinion . . . but then again maybe I'm just hung up on stripping porn stars.

And does anyone know when Space is going to start airing the newest and last season of Battlestar Galactica? I needs to get my Cylon on.

From geekery to overpriced real estate, apparently Toronto's Littlest House is for sale, still or again I don't know which. It's a neat little house and really keep you cluttering the place up with shit.

And here's some good news for fellow tinnitus sufferers (thanks Motorhead, I'll carry a little piece of your April 22, 2005 show at the Walker (Burton Cummings) Theatre with me forever. Actually it was an awesome show; Damn 13, 3 Inches of Blood, Corrosion of Conformity and Motorhead all on one bill.), looks like a German doctor has had some success treating the problem with magnetic fields. I'm sure I've way over simplified it, but you can read more about it here if you like. Now idea how good the site or its information is or isn't, it just came up in a Google search.
